Lexus has launched the made-in-India Lexus ES 300h in India at a starting price of Rs 51.90 lakh (ex-showroom India). And that’s not all, as the ES 300h has been given a variant rejig. It is now available in the Exquisite (Rs 51.90 lakh) and Luxury (Rs 56.95 lakh) trims, which are Rs 8 lakh and Rs 3 lakh cheaper than its previous offering. It retains the hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with the fourth-generation Lexus Hybrid Drive System. It rivals the likes of the Volvo SC90, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, and the Jaguar XF in Indian markets.
