Jeep Compass Latest Updates

Jeep India has launched the facelifted 2021 Compass from Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 28.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It features cosmetic updates on the exterior and a redesigned interior with more features on board. It continues to utilise the 163PS 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit and the 172PS 2.0-litre diesel engine.

The new Jeep Compass locks horns with the Skoda Karoq, Tata Harrier, VW T-ROC, and Hyundai Tucson.

Jeep Compass Price

The price of Jeep Compass starts at Rs. 16.99 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 28.29 Lakh. The price of petrol variant of Compass ranges between Rs. 16.99 Lakh to Rs. 25.29 Lakh. The prices of Compass diesel variants start at Rs. 18.69 Lakh and the top-end diesel is priced at Rs. 28.29 Lakh. Jeep Compass is available in 14 variants and 7 different colours.

Compass Specifications

The Compass comes with a 163PS 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and a 172PS 2.0-litre diesel engine, with a 6-speed manual as standard. While the petrol unit also gets the option of a 7-speed DCT, the diesel engine comes with an optional 9-speed automatic exclusive to the all-wheel-drive variants. It gets a standard front-wheel drive, although the diesel engine can be specced with an all-wheel-drive system.

Jeep Compass Variants

The new Jeep Compass is offered in four broad variants: Sports, Longitude, Limited, and Model S as well as a limited edition offered to commemorate Jeep’s 80th anniversary. It’s offered in the following colours: Techno Metallic Green, Galaxy Blue, Bright White, Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, and Magnesio Grey.

Compass Features

Jeep packs the Compass with features such as a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Uconnect5 connected car tech, an Alpine sound system with a subwoofer, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, powered tailgate, keyless entry with push-button start, auto LED headlamps and auto wipers. The safety pack includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and electronic stability control.

The Jeep Compass rivals the Skoda Karoq, VW T-ROC, Hyundai Tucson, and Tata Harrier.
