Aston Martin has launched the DBX SUV in the country at Rs 3.82 crore (ex-showroom). The first-ever luxury SUV from Aston Martin is equipped with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine (sourced from Mercedes-AMG) that generates 550PS and 700Nm. The SUV makes the 0-100kmph sprint in 4.5 seconds, before hitting its top speed of 291kmph. It gets a backup 48V system as well.

Performance aside, the 5-seater SUV packs a raft of premium features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 12-way adjustable seats, tri-zone climate control, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and a 360-degree camera. It also gets Alcantra upholstery and fits a cargo volume of 632 litres.

Aston Martin is reportedly launching the DBX as an exclusive offering in India, with only 11 units up for sale in 2021. The luxury SUV will rival the Lamborghini Urus and Audi RS8.
